A Commitment to Sikhi and Community
The Sikh Missionary Society Singapore (SMS) is an independent and premier Sikh institution dedicated to the promotion and learning of the Sikh Religion, Gurmukhi, Punjabi Language, and Sikh History. Our mission is to help the Sangat (community) strengthen their connection with Waheguru (God) through an accurate understanding of Gurbani.
By becoming a member, you will directly support our initiatives, which include preaching, publications, lectures, seminars, and forums aimed at inculcating Sikh Values and guiding the community in the Sikh Way of Life. Join us as we work towards our vision of being the premier Sikh missionary organization in Singapore.
Membership Requirements and Declaration
Membership is open to individuals who wish to support and participate in the Society’s objectives. To apply, you will need to complete the official Membership Application Form.
As part of your application, you will be required to declare your belief in the teachings of Sri Guru Granth Sahib Ji, confirm your status as a Singapore Citizen/Permanent Resident, and affirm that you are not an undischarged bankrupt.
Furthermore, all applications require the endorsement of a Proposer and a Seconder. Once approved, all members are expected to abide by the Rules and Regulations of the Society.
How to Apply
To proceed, please download and complete the membership application form. Be sure to affix a recent passport photo to your application. For applicants under the age of 18, the form includes a section for your parent or guardian to provide their written consent.
Please note that Membership Fee payment is to be made only after you have received an official notification of your successful application.
